When Thomas first made a Wooden Dice Box he actually wanted to carry and use himself the answer was the EverPrep. The first prototype traveled constantly alongside favorite sets of dice given to him by friends. The design was never meant to overcomplicate storage, but instead create something dependable, compact, durable, and satisfying to use every session. The EverPrep is built for players and Dungeon Masters who want to arrive ready to play. When you sit down at the table, you should not be digging through pockets, backpacks, or loose pouches searching for dice and counters. The EverPrep carries roughly two and a half standard sets of 16–22mm dice with an interior depth just under one inch. Externally, the Wooden Dice Box measures approximately 6.25″ × 3.25″ × 1⅝”, giving it enough weight to feel substantial in-hand while still remaining compact enough for travel. Strong embedded magnets draw the two halves together with a firm and confident close. When the box shuts, it stays shut. No loose lids, no latches, and no complicated compartments to manage; just the knowledge your dice are secure and ready when the game starts. Each Wooden Dice Box uses solid hardwood construction with a smooth hand-finished surface designed for years of regular tabletop use. The overall design stays intentionally simple; clean lines, balanced proportions, and nothing unnecessary. As a result, the EverPrep fits naturally onto nearly any gaming table without demanding attention or overwhelming the rest of a player’s setup.
While designed primarily for dice storage, players quickly started finding additional uses for the EverPrep during conventions and game nights. Some use it as a compact rolling tray, while others use it for tokens, counters, miniatures, business cards, jewelry, or small everyday carry items. The EverPrep works because it stays simple enough to adapt naturally to however players want to use it. Or keep your favorite set inside forever. No judgement there.
The EverPrep is available in multiple hardwood options, allowing players to choose a look and feel that better fits their personal setup or character aesthetic. Customization options may include; Wood selection, Engraving, Symbol work, Logos, Campaign markings and Personalized artwork. Leave the box clean and minimal, or customize it into something more personal to your table and campaign. Either way, the grain tends to do most of the talking on its own.
The EverPrep was designed to become part of regular game nights rather than something left on a shelf between sessions. The solid hardwood construction helps resist wear while also giving the Wooden Dice Box a stable and dependable feel during travel and regular handling. Over time, the box develops visible character through repeated use, small marks, handling, and long campaigns at the table.

Each board is handcrafted to order. Please allow 2–3 weeks for crafting and processing before shipment. Once your order ships, tracking information will be sent via email.
Due to the handmade and often personalized nature of our products, returns are limited. Non-custom items may be returned within 7 days of delivery if unused and in original condition. Custom or engraved pieces are final sale unless damaged in transit.

Wood is a natural material, as such, our Handmade Wood Products, may arrived with slight variations of striping, grain orientation, or figuring of wood. Because it would be infeasible to photograph every piece, we do our best with each piece to bring out it’s natural beauty, and make sure it’s something that we’d be proud to own and display.
