The Arcane Ledger Dungeon Master Screen started as a personal project.
However, after finishing the first prototype, Thomas realized almost immediately that he would spend years refining and rebuilding the design. Not simply as another Dungeon Master Screen, but as a centerpiece for storytelling itself.
The Ledger acts as part tool kit, part backdrop, and part fortress. More importantly, it gives Game Masters a place to organize notes, maps, secrets, and improvisation without cluttering the table or breaking immersion.
Ultimately, the goal stayed simple:
create a screen that feels like a natural extension of the storyteller behind it.
As a result, the Arcane Ledger balances visual presence with practical utility. It looks substantial at the table, yet still focuses first on usability during long campaigns and repeated sessions.
Each Arcane Ledger uses either three or four hardwood panels measuring approximately 11 inches high by 13.25 inches wide. Rather than relying on bulky hinges, The Ledger and all Tusano screens use 3/8ths steel rods to connect the panels. Because of that, the screen folds, pivots, and adjusts freely while maintaining a clean silhouette and modular structure. Additionally, integrated magnets inside the rear of each panel create mounting points for accessories such as: Acrylic note panels, Initiative tracking systems, Dice Trays, Pen holders, Dice Towers and Organizational tools. In practice, the Ledger functions as a complete workstation for your Game Master setup. At the same time, the modular structure allows players and Dungeon Masters to adapt the screen to their own style of organization over time.
The Arcane Ledger uses thicker hardwood intentionally. Because of the added mass, the screen resists warping over time while also improving stability during long sessions. Likewise, the additional weight helps prevent the panels from shifting around the table during play. Once placed, the Ledger stays planted. At the same time, that weight gives the screen a sense of permanence that lighter screens often lack. It feels solid in-hand, dependable during regular use, and sturdy enough to withstand years of campaigns, convention travel, and weekly game nights. Furthermore, the modular panel structure allows damaged or worn sections to be replaced more easily than fully fixed screen systems.
Each Arcane Ledger theme features artwork from a different artist whose style connected strongly with a particular corner of fantasy storytelling.
Currently available themes include; Gothic Castle — Honey Potts Art, Adventurer’s Respite — Taruht, Elvish Ruins — Xela Art, and Dwarvish Arsenal — Artist Uncredited by Request.
Rather than forcing a single fantasy aesthetic, the Ledger allows players and Game Masters to choose artwork that better reflects the tone of their own worlds and campaigns. As additional themes develop, Thomas intends to continue working with artists whose styles naturally complement different traditions and visual identities within fantasy storytelling.
Each Arcane Ledger includes; 10 half-inch steel ball bearings for notes and handouts, One 2×2 acrylic accessory panel, One 3×2 acrylic accessory panel, 3/8ths steel connector rods, Integrated magnetic system for accessories.
Together, these components provide a flexible starting point straight out of the box. However, the system still leaves plenty of room for expansion and personalization later.
From the beginning, Thomas designed the Arcane Ledger as an open system. He strongly believes tabletop tools should not lock players into proprietary ecosystems or artificial compatibility restrictions. Because of that philosophy, owners may request templates and specifications for creating compatible accessories. That means independent makers, local craftsmen, or customers themselves can create additions for the Ledger platform without relying entirely on Tusano Trading Company products. More importantly, the screen can continue evolving alongside the people using it instead of becoming locked into a single manufacturer’s ecosystem.
The Arcane Ledger exists to support storytelling, not gatekeep it.
The Arcane Ledger typically ships as an in-stock or semi-configurable product using established themes, finishes, and material options. Meanwhile, its larger sibling products, the Pact-Bound Tome and the Illuminated Scripture, remain fully custom offerings.
As Thomas puts it:
“I love making these screens, but I can’t customize every single detail for every single order forever. Every Ledger will be the best version I can make with the knowledge I have when it leaves the shop.”

Each board is handcrafted to order. Please allow 2–3 weeks for crafting and processing before shipment. Once your order ships, tracking information will be sent via email.
Due to the handmade and often personalized nature of our products, returns are limited. Non-custom items may be returned within 7 days of delivery if unused and in original condition. Custom or engraved pieces are final sale unless damaged in transit.

Wood is a natural material, as such, our Handmade Wood Products, may arrived with slight variations of striping, grain orientation, or figuring of wood. Because it would be infeasible to photograph every piece, we do our best with each piece to bring out it’s natural beauty, and make sure it’s something that we’d be proud to own and display.
