The Tusano Dice Tray is designed for individual tabletop use, though larger sizes naturally work well as shared rolling spaces during group sessions. Raised outer walls help prevent dice from scattering across maps, terrain pieces, and books during active play. Likewise, the contained rolling area keeps dice easier to read and collect between rolls. Because of its shape and footprint, this Wooden Dice Tray works especially well for; Personal player setups, Dungeon Master stations, Convention play, Shared rolling areas, Smaller gaming tables and Everyday game nights. Upgrade to a larger size and the tray becomes even more versatile. Some players use larger trays as shared rolling spaces, while others use them for tokens, counters, snacks, or general tabletop organization. Or hoard it for yourself.

Each Tusano Round Tray uses solid hardwood construction for durability and long-term tabletop use. The striped multiwood variant combines several American hardwoods, including; Cherry, Walnut, Ash, Oak and Maple. Together, these woods create strong grain contrast and natural variation while maintaining the structural strength needed for repeated rolling and handling. Meanwhile, the European Beechwood version offers a cleaner and more uniform appearance while keeping the same handcrafted feel and dependable construction. Each Wooden Dice Tray receives a food-safe hard wax oil finish to help protect the wood while preserving its natural texture and grain character. As a result, the trays feel smooth in-hand without becoming overly glossy or artificial. And yes, technically speaking: the finish keeps your dice chewable. Just in case.
The Tusano Dice Tray is available in several lining options depending on how players want their dice rolls to feel and sound at the table. Available options include; Felt lining, Leather lining or bare hardwood interiors. Felt-lined trays provide a softer and quieter rolling surface while also allowing for stronger color customization. Current felt color options include; Blue, Red, Black, Green and Purple. Custom felt colors are also available upon request. Meanwhile, leather-lined trays provide a slightly heavier and more refined rolling feel, while natural wood interiors preserve the sharper crack and tactile response of dice rolling directly against hardwood.
The Tusano Dice Tray currently comes in several size categories. Mini trays run approximately 5 inches across, with Beechwood variants running slightly larger. Medium trays run approximately 7 inches across and are designed for regular tabletop play. Large custom trays are available as one-off requests for players looking for oversized rolling spaces or centerpiece trays. Additionally, striped hardwood trays run slightly deeper due to thicker material construction.
The Tusano Dice Tray was designed to become part of regular game nights rather than something left on a shelf between sessions. The thicker construction resists warping while also giving the Wooden Dice Tray a substantial feel. Likewise, the added mass helps prevent the tray from sliding easily during use. Over time, the tray develops visible character through repeated handling, regular rolling, and long campaigns at the table. A good Wooden Dice Tray should look like it has seen a few adventures.
