Its profile gives enough room for meats, cheeses, breads, fruits, desserts and appetizers, without feeling cramped once guests start picking through the spread. The Carnifice works naturally as both a serving surface and preparation board depending on the situation. The larger working area gives enough room for charcuterie spreads, smoked meats, cheeses, garnish preparation, breads, desserts, snack trays, and tabletop presentation without forcing everything tightly together. Because of that flexibility, the Wooden Charcuterie Board works especially well for; Dinner parties, Game nights, Holiday gatherings, Cocktail service, Kitchen islands, Barbecue spreads and Shared table service. Some hosts carefully arrange every spread. Others throw down bread, meat, cheese, and snacks five minutes before guests arrive. Both approaches work perfectly fine here.
Each Carnifice Board uses solid hardwood construction designed for repeated kitchen and hosting use. Available woods may include; Walnut, Cherry, Maple, Oak, Ash, Beechwood and Multiwood striped hardwood configurations depending on availability and board style. The hardwood construction gives the board a stable feel during serving while helping resist warping over time. At the same time, the clean profile allows the natural grain, coloration, and figuring of the wood to remain the primary visual focus. Each Wooden Charcuterie Board receives a food-safe finish that protects the wood while preserving its natural texture and feel during regular use. Because wood remains a natural material, grain orientation, coloration, striping, and figuring naturally vary from board to board. The Tusano Trading Company highlights those variations while making sure every board feels worthy of regular use and display.
Customization options may include; Engraving, Personalized artwork, Family names, Logos, Symbols, Custom sizing and wood selections. Some customers prefer understated serving boards with minimal markings. Others request personalized boards for weddings, gifts, recurring gatherings, or centerpiece serving trays. Either way, the wood carries the visual character on its own.

Due to the handmade and often personalized nature of our products, returns are limited. Non-custom items may be returned within 7 days of delivery if unused and in original condition. Custom or engraved pieces are final sale unless damaged in transit.

Because it would be infeasible to photograph every piece, we do our best with each piece to bring out it’s natural beauty, and make sure it’s something that we’d be proud to own and display.
